Rapid Response to Homelessness
This investment will provide $291 million to deliver a mix of permanent and temporary units in response to the growing issue of homelessness across BC. $170 million will be provided over three years for 24/7 staffing & support services. Over 2000 units have been confirmed.
Community Housing Fund
This investment will provide close to $1.9 billion over 10 years to develop 14,350 units of mixed income, affordable rental housing for independent families and seniors.
Indigenous Housing Fund
This investment will provide $550 million over 10 years to build and operate 1750 new units of social housing, both on- and off-reserve.
Supportive Housing Fund
This investment will provide $1.2 billion over 10 years to build and operate 2,500 units of supportive housing for people who are experiencing homelessness, or who are at risk of homelessness.
Women's Transition Housing Fund
This investment will provide $734 million over 10 years to build and operate 1,500 new units of housing including transition houses, safe homes, second-stage and long-term housing.
