Study of Airflow in Attic Space

This 2016 BCIT study examines the airflow distributions, attic air and roof sheathing temperatures, attic ventilation rates, and the heating and cooling loads of an attic roof with four attic ventilation scenarios under winter and summer weather conditions. The study establishes relationships between attic ventilation rates, temperature, and airflow distribution patterns in an attic space with local climatic conditions.
