Jamie Christopher Mydaniuk and Chrystal Rae Sawry

Jamie Christopher Mydaniuk (“Mydaniuk”) and Chrystal Rae Sawry (“Sawry”), built a new home in Bowser, B.C., (the “New Home”) in 2011. On February 23, 2012, the HPO issued Compliance Order 12-0012 to Mydaniuk and Sawry directing that they either become an HPO LRB pursuant to section 14 of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “ Act”) and obtain home warranty insurance for the New Home pursuant to section 22 of the Act, or that they apply for, and be issued, an Owner Builder Authorization (“OBA”) for the New Home pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Act and section 4.1 (2) of the Homeowner Protection Act Regulation (the “Regulations”), and fulfil the requirements of being an owner builder, or that they provide the HPO with proof that the New Home is a manufactured home as defined by section 1 of the Regulations. Mydaniuk and Sawry were directed to comply with Compliance Order 12-0012 by March 30, 2012.
