Jagpal Development Ltd. (“JDL”), Navjote Singh Jagpal (“Navjote J.”), Navepal Singh Jagpal (“Navepal J.) and Randeep Johal (“Randeep J.”), contrary to section 14(5)(b) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), published information implying and suggesting that JDL, Navjote J., Navepal J., and/or Randeep J. is a licensed residential builder during the period of July 29, 2021, and March 23, 2022, without being a BC Housing (“BCH”) Licensed Residential Builder (“LRB”). On March 23, 2022, BCH issued Compliance Order 22-0005 to JDL, Navjote J., Navepal J., and Randeep J, directing that JDL, Navjote J., Navepal J., and Randeep J:
- immediately, cease all signage, marketing, advertising, and other publications that imply, suggest, or hold out in any manner that either JDL, Navjote J., Navepal J., or Randeep J is a licensed residential builder; or
- immediately become a BCH LRB pursuant to section 14 of the Act.
JDL, Navjote J., Navepal J., and Randeep J were ordered to comply with Compliance Order 22-0005 by April 29, 2022.
