Indigenous Housing Series: Lu'ma Native Housing Society

Lu'ma Native Housing Society (Lu'ma) operates the Aboriginal Children's Village, including 13 units for Indigenous youth in care of the Vancouver Aboriginal Child & Family Services Society. The housing program works with the Youth Mentorship program to help foster youth transition to adulthood.

About the Indigenous Housing Series

Case studies in the Indigenous Housing Series highlight housing providers and programs that serve Indigenous women, youth, and families who need housing support and are facing child welfare intervention. They provide information on program components and support, and examine key practices, program highlights, challenges, and successes.
