Based on the wide variety of soil types, landforms, topographic features, and climates found throughout B.C., there are many potential geotechnical challenges that can affect building sites. This 2015 reference guide promotes best practices related to soils, foundations, and associated geotechnical challenges for builders and other industry professionals – all the way from pre- to post-construction of single and multi-family residences.
