BC Housing launched the Single-Room-Occupancy (SRO) Renewal Initiative in 2013 to renovate and restore 13 government-owned SRO hotels. This case study looks at how BC Housing worked with the SRO operators to support the residents during the renovation process, including risks, mitigation strategies, and lessons learned.
