Building Knowledge Case Study
The Wesley Street Supportive Housing project (“Wesley Street”) is a supportive housing building in Nanaimo operated by the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Mid-island Branch. It offers safe and affordable housing with supports for homeless single men and women with addictions, mental health issues and/or other challenges. This case study used the Social Return on Investment (SROI) methodology to demonstrate the social and economic value created by investing in dedicated-site supportive housing.
