Construction Contracts

Depending on the type of work you do with BC Housing, you may be required to submit additional documents.

If you are doing construction work for new social housing that is receiving funds through a BC Housing program, your contract format will be either a Generic Master Service Agreement: Goods, Services & Light Construction or a Canadian Construction Document Committee Contract.

Note that Supplementary General Conditions modify some of the terms and conditions in the Canadian Construction Documents Committee documents.

Look for design guidelines and construction standards, LEED standards and Procurement Guidelines for Non-Profit Housing, along with commissioning and handover resources that provide a framework for successful construction projects.

The Procurement Guidelines provide comprehensive explanations, recommendations and requirements for the procurement of new construction or capital renovations. Non-profit housing providers will be better equipped to make informed decisions throughout the procurement process and ensure that the process is fair, open and transparent.
