Adeline Stone (“Stone”), contrary to section 9(3) of the Homeowner Protection Act (the “Act”), obstructed a Compliance Officer in the exercise of powers under section 9 of the Act, withheld or concealed a record relevant to an investigation regarding a new home in Osoyoos, BC (the “New Home”), for which an Owner Builder Authorization had been issued. On March 30, 2015, the Homeowner Protection Office (“HPO”) issued Compliance Order 15-0013 to Stone directing that Stone immediately:
- provide the HPO with the date on which first occupancy occurred at the New Home, and the names of the tradespersons who contributed to the building of the New Home pursuant to section 4.1(3)(e) of the Homeowner Protection Act Regulation.
